Weston Miles Architects is known for our versatility and innovative approach
to design, using strategic approaches and processes for continuous
improvement that deliver new architectural solutions. Weston
Miles Architects has been in business for 22 years.
We have built two office buildings for our own business in the last nine years
to test our own innovation in sustainable building design.
Our current office building is LEED gold certified and
we have designed the first LEED certified school in California.
Our office is home to 13 team members whose unique experiences
contribute to our considerable expertise on civic projects,
residential projects, educational facilities, and historic
renovations. Our collaborative approach to design ensures
that we achieve the highest level of quality at all stages
of the design process.

Principals
Charles D. Weston, A.I.A, NCARB, LEED AP has been a registered architect for
21 years. He has recently served as Chairman of the Planning
Commission for the City of Morgan Hill and has led the General
Plan Update for the City of Morgan Hill. He is also a licensed
general contractor, serving as GC for the WMA’s new office
and the 16,000 sq. ft. LEED Gold Certified Granary. Charles
is a graduate of the University of California Polytechnic
Institute in San Luis Obispo with a BA/BS degree in Architecture.
He is also competitive runner and has completed 80 marathons.
Lesley Miles, A.I.A. has been a registered architect for 12 years. Her interest
in sustainability started 35 years ago when she worked at
the first recycling center in the U.S. in Sebastopol, CA.
She worked in sustainable agriculture where she developed
a keen awareness of organic relationships. With roots in
organic design, Lesley has dedicated herself to public education
architecture for the last 14 years. She is the managing architect
for the Santa Clara County Office of Education with a $60M
school program and an emphasis on sustainable schools.
